There are a lot of ways one can work, study, and complete tasks and do communications. But when everything feels all at once or all too new, sometimes a little guidance on how to make the most of what's available to you can make the world of difference.

In this quickfire showcase, I run through how a university can more easily share news and updates, workshops and opinion pieces around their organisation by pulling in those pieces from pre-existing SharePoint spaces, rather than one central location or by emailing out requests for further emails to interested groups

A sub-five (okay, this week just over) minute run through of how to create and edit both SharePoint site pages and SharePoint site news posts. Sometimes, depending on theme, you might be best creating a page and surfacing news posts from it. Other times you might be best updating the content of a page with new information but not necessarily as a new story. The main point of being able to do this is the potential it has for changing how universities communicate to their staff, showcase best practice, and interact with the areas of your institution that you are personally interested or invested in.
